Hematology Tests

Test Description: APTT (Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time)
Test Code: 383
Specimens: 1 ml citrated plasma (BTT). All blue top tubes must be filled to capacity for accurate analysis.
Storage:Centrifuge sample. Aliquot the plasma in a separator tube and keep refrigerated if specimen will arrive in the laboratory within 24 hours. Otherwise, freeze plasma within 1 hour of collection and submit frozen plasma to the laboratory.
